1000 watt eniCycle with gyroscope stabilization

Aleksander Polutnik from Slovenien has build this unicycle that works in the same way as a Segway.

1000 watt eniCycle with gyroscope stabilization

eniCycle

Electronic gyroscope measures vertical angle of the eniCycle.

A complete control runs 100 times per second and stabilizes eniCycle in a perfect vertical position. Because of this eniCycle fits into the category of self balancing vehicles. The speed of eniCycle is controlled by leaning forwards/backwards.

An electric 1000 watt hub motor sets your ride in motion by leaning forwards.

Direction steering is very similar to steering a conventional bicycle. You steer a bicycle by turning the handlebar with your hands. By eniCycle you steer with your feet. This is the reason why learning to ride eniCycle is so simple. You must just learn to use your reflex response on your feet. The average user can learn this in less than 30 minutes.

Features:

999cm3 4-cylinder powerplant, designed lighter and 59.6mm shorter from front to rear, delivers more power and torque, and enhanced throttle response across the entire rpm range.

The new compact engine enabled 10mm shorter wheelbase and 33mm longer swingarm to improve racetrack performance.

New, more over-square bore x stroke of 74.5mm x 57.3mm (changed from 73.4mm x 59.0mm) gives the engine better overall tuning potential. The compression ratio is now 12.8:1, changed from 12.5:1.

The engine employs enlarged titanium valves in diameter, forged pistons, shot-peened conrods and Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM)-plated cylinders integrated into the crankcase, reducing friction and improving heat transfer, durability and ring seal.

12-hole fuel injectors produce a finer fuel mist for more complete combustion, reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.

Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) offers push-button selection of three performance settings to suit riding conditions and personal tastes. Now the switch is relocated on the left handlebar control module.

Iridium spark plugs produce a stronger spark for better combustion.

Large, efficient radiator with a trapezoidal shape developed on factory team racebikes and a trapezoidal engine oil cooler both help reduce drag.

Cable-operated back-torque-limiting clutch makes for efficient clutch operation with superb feel.

Unique Suzuki Advanced Exhaust System (SAES) uses an under-engine chamber and low-slung, large-volume MotoGP-inspired titanium mufflers.

Twin-spar cradle frame made of five cast sections, mated with an arched swingarm made of three castings and one-piece die-cast rear subframe.

Big Piston Frontforks (BPF) with an endurance-race-proven design deliver superb feedback and responsive, stable operation, and are lightweight.

Rear shock absorber features adjustable rebound damping, spring preload, and both high-speed and low-speed compression damping.

Front brakes with fully floating 310mm discs and rigid, lightweight race-proven monoblock forged radial-mount calipers.

The edgy and clean GSX-R1000 styling incorporates fairing and bodywork details aimed at reducing turbulence and drag.

Attention to rider comfort includes a carefully shaped seat and adjustable footpegs. Tailsection cover included for solo rides or track days.

Sculpted fuel tank is lighter, while capacity remains 17.5 liters (4.6 US gal).
New look multi-reflector headlight with vertically stacked high and low-beam halogen bulbs centered between position lights on each side.

For Europe, the position lights each have layered lenses with blue coloring on the inside lens for an even sportier look.

Front and rear turn signals feature clear lenses over amber bulbs.

Instruments include a silver-ringed analog tachometer with LCD speedometer. LCD readouts include odometer, dual trip meters, reserve trip meter, clock, coolant temperature/oil pressure warning indicator, gear position indicator, lap timer/stopwatch, S-DMS setting indicator and bar-graph indicating the instrument lighting level, or brightness.

Features:

1250cc Revolution V-Twin: Standard on all 2009 VRSC models, the 60-degree Revolution 1250cc V-Twin is liquid-cooled and features Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), dual overhead cams, four-valve heads, and a five-speed transmission. The engine is rubber-mounted in a hydroformed steel perimeter frame. A shell covers the large-volume airbox located over the engine. A five-gallon fuel tank is located below the seat on all VRSC models. The engine is tuned to produce up to 125 hp at 8250 rpm and up to 85 ft-lbs. of torque at 7000 rpm.

Optional ABS: Each VRSC model is available with optional, factory-installed Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Designed to work in conjunction with high-performance Brembo triple-disc brakes, this is the most advanced braking system offered on any power cruiser. ABS is designed to help the rider maintain control during braking events, especially those that happen in less-than-optimal conditions. The components of the Harley-Davidson ABS have been designed and packaged to be virtually invisible, preserving the uncluttered styling of the area around the wheels. Unlike many motorcycle ABS, Harley-Davidson ABS is not a linked system, meaning the rider maintains full, independent control of both front and rear brakes.

Stewart set the stage coming into tonight’s main event, winning the superpole, which put him two steps away from claiming the $250,000 Trifecta bonus award. Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Chad Reed, of Dade City, Fla., stopped Stewart from winning the $250,000 when he won the holeshot award. Yamaha’s Broc Hepler, of Kittanning, Pa., followed Reed through turn one and Stewart started in fourth.

Reed led the first 16 laps before suffering a major crash that allowed Stewart to move into the lead. Red Bull Honda’s Andrew Short, of Smithville, Texas, moved into second place, where he finished. Reed finished third.

In the overall, Red Bull Honda’s Ivan Tedesco, of Tallahassee, Fla., finished second and Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, of Belle, Plaine, Minn., finished third.

“I wanted to come here and do good for the team,” said Stewart. “I was lucky that Chad made a mistake for me. It was a great night and I am glad that we put on a great race for the fans.”

Jesse Nelson bounced back from a rough ride Friday night to win the Alpinestars 85cc Mini Invitational. While trailing Nelson, Joe Savatgy, who finished second last night, crashed the timing section, giving up his chase for the lead. Austin Politelli, who won last night’s main event, finished second place tonight and won the overall.
